The Rose Legacy Trilogy by: Jessica Day George

The Rose Legacy

Jessica Day George

THIS IS THE ROSE LEGACY, THE VERY FIRST BOOK.
 I RECOMMEND STARTING WITH IT.
A fairly new series by Jessica Day George, called, The Rose Legacy Trilogy. Although, the third and final book of this series, The Rider's Reign, has not yet been published, we can already tell from the first two books that this is going to be a great continual.

The Rose Legacy Trilogy is a series that follows a girl named Anthea Thornley, and her three friends as they endure in the mystical world of horses.

Anthea Thornley is a supposed orphan, as her father died in a train crash, and her mother has been unseen in years. Anthea believes her mother is dead, and horses are too. Until she is sent to live beyond the wall with her Uncle Andrew. Anthea quickly finds out, that horses are indeed still living, and refuses to take any part with them, until she meets Florian. A horse from her past, a fragment of herself that had been lost in all her years of learning how to be proper. As Anthea struggles with getting along in the strange awareness, she makes a few friends, Finn, a young boy only a year older than her. Jillian, Anthea's cousin who was born on the same day and is pretty much Anthea's twin sister. And Keth, a boy a year younger than his two friends, and two years younger than his one friend. Together, they have one job. Get the townsfolk to accept horses. And what better way to do that then to try out horses on the queen? And when Anthea meets her long lost mother, things get even more crazy. What happens next? Well, that's where you get to read the book.

Book One: The Rose Legacy
Book Two: The Queen's Secret
And Book Three: The Rider's Reign (COMING SOON)
